Brother Printer Not Recognizing Toner Cartridges

You made the effort to go and replace your Brother Printer’s toner. After carefully replacing your old Brother Printer toner cartridge with your new, overpriced, toner cartridge, you try to put it to work. Low and behold, you’re met with the dreaded error messages, “toner low”, or “replace your toner”. You don’t want to call a printer repair company. You’re ready to give up! Make sure the toner cartridge was installed correctly:

 

1.   Press on the cover on the front of the Brother Printer and pull the cover towards yourself to access the printer and toner cartridge area

3. Remove the toner cartridge again, carefully – Toner stains clothing very easily if not immediately washed with cold water

4. Take the Brother toner cartridge and reinstall into the printer by sliding the toner cartridge into the drum that you pulled out in step 3. Ensure you’re matching the correct toner color to the corresponding label

5. Once you’ve installed the Brother toner cartridges, push the drum back into place and close the cover door that you opened in step 1
